🙄) It had been more than 30 years since I set foot in a casino and I was surprised that I detected zero cigarette smoke and that some of the roulette and craps tables were fully automated (with no dealer). I was “feeling it” so I dropped $20 and at one point was riding such a “hot hand” that I had to roll up my sleeves just before receiving an $11 payout! (Work with me people, I’m new at this.) Sure, I ended up losing all of my twenty bucks, but it took more than 26 minutes before all my money was gone! Clearly with a little practice I’ll soon be competing on (Yeah, I can hear the collective groan from the back of the room and those imploring me to not “quit my day job” just yet. ☺️ Although I’m just a rookie at this, her good fortune flowed downhill to me. Cathie invited to join us as her good luck charm and that was a strong move as Cathie had separate payouts of $257 and $590. That back-up plan proved useful as our collaborative scratching efforts failed to deliver the windfall we were seeking.
